Suitable for lighter skin tones and darker hair.  Fitzpatrick skin types l – lV.  A course of between 6-10 sessions taken approx. 4-6 weeks apart is recommended for optimum results.  IPL Laser which is then combined with electrolysis to remove the last of the finer, downy growth will ultimately give the best longer lasting outcome.  

To achieve long-lasting or permanent hair removal results the hair follicle must be destroyed.  Carefully selected and controlled pulses of light penetrate the epidermis and are absorbed only by the pigment cells (melanin) in the hair shaft itself.   The light energy is absorbed by the melanin converting it to a heat energy in the follicle which is destroyed rendering it unable to produce a new hair.  Areas to be treated must be shaved by the client before treatment. This will be fully discussed during the consultation. 

This treatment is suitable for both men and women.

IPL Laser is most suitable for larger areas such as: underarms, Bikini

·      Consultation and a Patch Test are required before any new treatment area.  

·      A Patch Test fee of £20.00 is redeemable from the first treatment.

·      All pre-treatment and after-care advice must be followed, should the client tan the skin mid-treatment, this may result in a delay in receiving further treatments until the tan has faded.
